Vendor spots are available for Hot Wheels Diecast Event on Saturday, Dec. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 915 New York Ave. Vendor fee is $20 per table with a $2 entry for quests. There will be food, games and raffles. For more information, call 352-304-2295.

 

The city’s annual tree swap, “Don’t Curb it, Swap it” takes place on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Peghorn Nature Park. Instead of throwing your old, live Christmas Tree to the curb, swap it for a new tree to plant at home. Tree must be free of decorations to be swapped for the new potted tree.

 

The 17th Street Ball Fields Ribbon Cutting Ceremony happens on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 9 a.m. This $17 million upgrade qill officially open the facility, which includes new fields, lighting, fencing, dugouts and parking. The event will feature special guest speakers, a mascot race and a demo game between City leaders/staff and members of the Little League Challengers Division. Once the complex is open fields, will be available to rent.

 

Save the date! Sami’s Star-Spangled Celebration takes place on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Peghorn Park, 2101 Peghorn Way. Enjoy patriotic crafts, a live DJ, inflatables, face painting and more. Keep the party going with the Redneck Gala on Saturday, Jan. 24 from 5-10 p.m. at Hastings Ranch (1550 Dolphin Drive). The Redneck gala is a fundraiser to help support the efforts of the St. Cloud Main Street Program in its mission for economic development and historic preservation of downtown St. Cloud. This event includes live music, a steak dinner cooked by the Osceola Cattleman’s Association with all the fixin’s, beer, wine, games and silent auction.
