Two people have been arrested following an armed robbery and shooting at a Kissimmee residence early Nov. 22, according to Osceola County Sheriff ’s arrest affidavits.

Deputies responded around 3 a.m. to a shots fired call at a Marks Street home, where they contacted two victims, a woman and her boyfriend. Investigators say the female victim had earlier been staying at a friend’s home in Orlando when the friend— identified as Adriana Kennett, 19, of Orlando—accused her of stealing $4,000. The victim denied the allegation and told deputies she showed Kennett her belongings and bank records to prove she did not have the money.

Later that night, the victim’s boyfriend picked her up and the pair returned to his Kissimmee residence. About an hour later, Kennett allegedly arrived with two masked males and began yelling that the victims had taken money. One of the masked men then produced a rifle and pointed it at the victims.

According to investigators, the boyfriend was pistolwhipped and assaulted by both masked men. When the female victim attempted to intervene, she was also struck, and her phone was taken.

During a struggle over the firearm, a round was discharged, followed by two additional shots—one into the air and one into the ground, reports state. Deputies collected three shell casings from the scene, consistent with the victims’ accounts.

Both victims suffered visible injuries consistent with being battered and told deputies they wished to pursue charges. Reports said the female victim identified one of the masked men as Kennett’s boyfriend, Jayvyn Lindsey, 21, of Orlando, saying she recognized him despite the ski mask based on his voice and demeanor. Lindsey is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, discharge of a firearm in public, and robbery with a firearm. Kennett is charged with robbery with a firearm and accessory after the fact. Both are being held without bond at the Osceola County Jail.
