A Kissimmee woman died early Saturday morning when the motorcycle she was riding as a passenger was struck by another vehicle on South Orange Blossom Trail, Florida Highway Patrol reports.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. west of Pleasant Hill Road near Good Samaritan Village. The Suzuki GFSX-8S motorcycle, driven by a 30-year-old Orlando man, and a 2021 Buick Enclave driven by a 54-year-old St. Cloud woman were headed south on Orange Blossom Trail. Troopers say the Enclave failed to slow for the motorcycle ahead and crashed into it.
All three people involved were taken to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital with injuries, where the 27-year-old woman riding passenger on the motorcycle was pronounced dead, troopers said.
The crash remains under investigation.
