It’s back! Rob Gallo’s Christmas Light Show at 922 Dartmouth Ct. is the place to be on Friday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. This is opening night. This year’s display includes snow. Opening night also features Mister Softee.
Make plans and grab that ugly sweater! Ugly Bingo Party takes place on Friday, Dec. 5 at the Poinciana Community Center. Doors open at 6 p.m., first ball pulled at 7 p.m. This bingo is for ages 18 and over. The cost is 10 games for $5. The concession stand will be open and no outside food or drink is allowed.
Osceola County Commissioner Brandon Arrington announces Santa’s Helpers at the Library! Pick up a Letters to Santa Kit at the Poinciana Library, write your holiday wish list and drop it off at Santa’s Special Mailbox at the Library on Saturday, Nov. 29. Santa and his elves will send a personalized reply – no presents just a little Christmas magic.
Do you love browsing through cookbooks and trying new recipes? Kitchen Reader takes place on Saturday, Nov. 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Library has selected the Friendship Cookbook, where you will pick a recipe from and make it. This class is for ages 18+ and registration is required. To register call the Library at 407-742-8888.
Thinking Money for Kids: Penny Pinchers Party takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 4:30-5:30 p.m., Children ages 6-11 years old will be given a budget of $100 (play money), to choose the coolest items from the party warehouse. Winner is crowned the Party Champion. Thinking Money for Kids is an initiative of the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.
Mobile Device Basics: Android takes place on Thursday, Dec. 4 from 10-11:30 a.m. Unlock the full potential of your mobile device and learn how to navigate, customize and use key features on your Smart Phone and Tablet.

The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) Christmas Parade and Celebration is set for Saturday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. making it’s way from Cypress Pkwy. to Vance Harmon Park, 625 Country Club Rd. This family friendly event features a grand parade with dozens of floats and participants. Immediately following the parade is the holiday celebration at the amphitheater at Vance Harmon Park. This celebration features a kids zone, a food truck lane, live entertainment, vendors and crafters, a Battle of the Bands and more.
