ST. CLOUD NEWS — Holiday season starting with Small Business Saturday

Happy Thanksgiving, St. Cloud! May your day be full of love, kindness and gratitude. Be grateful for the loved ones in your life and for your blessings.

Small Business Saturday is Saturday, Nov. 29. Join St. Cloud Main Street at 1102 New York Ave. at 9 a.m. for a morning of shopping, dining and community fun. Enjoy a free breakfast (for the first 100 guests) provided by Jimmy Bears BBQ and 10th Street Produce and Deli. There will also be 15% off from participating downtown St. Cloud merchants.

That afternoon, come to Starry Night, a public event at Sunbridge (6137 Cyrils Dr.) starting at 4 p.m. This is a night of festive cheer, twinkling lights and winter wonder. There will be festive market-shops, food trucks, live music and entertainment, a kids zone and snow fall and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus. This holiday event is part of the community's holiday tree lighting ceremony.

 

Harmony’s Christmas Market takes place on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Harmony Town Square. There will be plenty of photo ops, smores, fresh produce, Christmas items, gifts, plants, candles, jewelry, sourdough, crafts, body care, baked goods, clothing, food items, nutrition, customized items and food trucks. Registration is open for The Women’s Club of St. Cloud’s Children’s Breakfast with Santa taking place on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the St. Cloud Community Center. Tickets are $15 per child and includes breakfast, goody bag, a book and a visit with Santa. There will be live music by Denny Gee, door prizes and more. Spots fill up quickly. Confession of the Hand, Fine Art and Tatts' 7th Annual Food Drive Blessing Baskets runs until Sunday, Dec. 14. They are collecting non-perishable foods for families in need within our local schools. These Blessing Bags will go home with these families to have meals over winter break. The following items are being collected: canned green beans, canned corn, canned gray, canned yams, beans, white rice, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, instant rice, pasta side dish, corn bread, dinner rolls, canned ham and desserts, gift cards for turkey will also be collected.

Items can be dropped off at Confession of the hand, 59 13th St., UPS store at the corner of 192 and Narcoossee Road, Canoe Creek Sports Tavern, 2911 Canoe Creek Road, Terracotta Bakery, 53 13th St. and the American Legion Post 80, 1019 Pennsylvania Ave.
