KISSIMMEE NEWS — Youth lacrosse camp, seniors' holiday brunch

The City of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation invites all little athletes aged 5-7 to join its Start Smart Lacrosse program — a fun and friendly way to introduce young kids to the exciting world of lacrosse. This beginner-friendly class is perfect for kids who are curious about the sport and ready to have a blast while learning the basics. The sessions will take place at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex (2500 Fortune Road) with classes from 6-7 p.m. The fee is $75 per session. Registration runs through Dec. 23 with the program running Mondays from Jan. 5 through Feb. 16 Grab a spot and watch your kiddo discover a new passion for sports and active fun. Kick off your holidays with good food and great company at the city's Seniors' Holiday Brunch. This festive event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a delicious brunch and connect with friends. The celebration will be held at the Oak Street Park Community Center, (717 N. Palm Avenue) on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to all seniors aged 55 and older.
