ST. CLOUD NEWS — Time for Pumpkins ... and Christmas trees?

The City of St. Cloud and Toho Water Authority presents Movie in the Park on Friday, Nov. 7 at the St. Cloud Lakefront Park. Enjoy games, activities and giveaways starting at 5:30 p.m. “The Lorax” will begin at 7 p.m. Bring a blanket and chair!

 

Give your pumpkins a purpose! Give your pumpkins a second life—Osceola County’s office of Sustainability invites you to take part in Pumpkins with a Purpose, a seasonal recyclable program that turns pumpkins and fall gords into composts, through Monday, Nov. 10. All pumpkins and gords may be donated that are free of paint, glitter or other decorations. In St. Cloud, the drop-off locations are the Veterans Memorial St. Cloud Library and Osceola County Fleet Services (3860 Old Canoe Creek Road).

 

The Church of St. Luke and St. Peter (2745 Canoe Creek Road) presents the Christmas Festival of Trees Nov. 7-9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Santa will be there on Saturday. There will be a letter to Santa coloring station and seasonal refreshments and snacks. The trees will be raffled—win the whole tree and gifts that accompany it. Guests are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for the St. Cloud Cares Pantry.

 

The Harmony Social Committee will host a Community Yard Sale on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a chance to get good deals on household goods, antiques, toys, furniture and more. Maps and addresses of participating homes are available on the Harmony Social Committee Facebook page.

 

Seek out “another man’s treasure” at the City of St. Cloud’s 2025 City-Wide Garage Sale the weekend of Nov. 14-16. During these dates, residents across the City can host garage sales at their properties without needing the usual permits.

 

Homeschoolers are invited to celebrate the season on Friday, Nov. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the City of St. Cloud’s Homeschool Harvest Fest at the St. Cloud Civic Center. Students will enjoy a meal together, watch “Free Birds” and spend time with friends for a fun, festive day. Each student should bring a dish, snack or treat to share. Classes are combined for this special event. The fee is $15 for City residents and $20 for non-City residents. Register online at https://webtrac.stcloudfl.gov. The City of St. Cloud presents the free Walk in the Stones—Outdoor Walking Museum on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Historical Mount Peace Cemetery. There will be guided tour beginning at 11 a.m. Discover and learn about the artifacts and relics of St. Cloud’s history. For more information, call 407-957-7243.
