Give your pumpkins a second life—Osceola County’s office of Sustainability invites you to take part in Pumpkins with a Purpose, a seasonal recyclable program that turs pumpkins and fall gords into composts. All pumpkins and gords may be donated that are free of paint, glitter or other decorations. The dropoff locations are the Veterans Memorial St. Cloud Library and Osceola County Fleet Services (3860 Old Canoe Creek Road). Pumpkins with a Purpose runs from Wednesday, Oct. 29 to Monday, Nov. 10.
