POINCIANA NEWS: October means its time to get spooky at Trunk or Treat

Mark your calendar—the Association of Poinciana Village’s (APV) 9th Annual Trunk or Treat and Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 6-9 p.m. at the Poinciana Activity Campus (445 Marigold Ave.)

This community tradition is free for attendees, family friendly and the perfect way for children to celebrate Halloween in a safe and exciting environment.

Each year, APV residents and community partners transform their vehicle trunks into imaginative Halloween displays filled with treats for the kids. Last year more than 1,500 children participated.

X Don’t pack up those luau clothes just yet! Because of inclement weather last month, the big Luau party was cancelled. The new date is Saturday, Nov. 8 from 6-9 p.m. at the Victory Pool.

The pool area will be transformed into a tropical paradise with entertainment including luau entertainers, finger foods, music, DJ and dancing, games and a tropical cash bar with adult beverages (the first beverage is free for the first 50 guests).

This is a very popular event. Shake off those grass skirts and breakout the Hawaiian shirt. This event is free, but you must be 21 and up and registered to attend.
