Georgia woman arrested, accused of stabbing fiancee at Kissimmee resort

Osceola County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a woman they say stabbed her fiancée at a Kissimmee resort.

Jameilah Goodine, 32, was arrested Sunday and charged with pre-meditated murder and tampering with evidence. She is held in the Osceola County Jail on no bond.

According to detectives and deputies who responded to a 911 call Saturday to the Westgate Vacation Villas, Goodine said she and partner Harold Mundy, 61, were involved in a heated argument, during which she held a knife towards Mundy in what she claimed was an act of self-defense. The call stated a male had been stabbed in the chest, and the Sheriff's Office Homicide and Forensic Units were dispatched to the scene to investigate.

Mundy was transported to Celebration Hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced deceased, Sheriff's spokesperson Kim Montes said. On Sunday, the Sheriff's Homicide Unit obtained an arrest warrant for  Goodine, charging her with second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence. She was subsequently arrested and booked into jail.

Court documents currently available do not show why Goodine, whose booking information shows a Savannah, Ga., address, was also charged with tampering with evidence.
