EK is looking for the next nonprofit organization making great strides helping everyday people in Osceola County

Off the success that Healthy Start of Osceola County saw as the Experience Kissimmee annual charitable recipient, EK is looking for the next nonprofit organization making great strides helping everyday people in Osceola County.

Experience Kissimmee is looking for the local non-profit it will support during the 2025-26 fiscal year. The tourism marketing arm and local partners raised more than $37,000 in cash and event donations to through the Kissimmee Cares Program —the largest donation ever made to the annual charitable recipient.

Eligible non-profits will need to apply. The be eligible, it must be based in Central Florida with services and funding benefiting Osceola County, have no political or religious affiliation, be an established 501(c)(3) for more than three years and be able to present to the selection committee.

“Kissimmee Cares exists to provide a direct, tangible benefit from tourism to our community, beyond the economic impacts that visitors provide,” said Jason Holic, Experience Kissimmee Chief of Destination Stewardship. “Each year, community leaders on the Kissimmee Cares Committee select a charitable recipient that serves the residents of Osceola County.

“We and our industry partners provide donations, monetary contributions, and unique collaborative opportunities to not only boost the organization’s resources, but also raise its profile within the community for sustained, long-term positive impact.”
