Sheriff's deputies have arrested the accomplice in an April 26 hotel room invasion and robbery at a West U.S. Highway 192 hotel.
Iain Cade-Alamin Petrie, 25, was arrested Thursday, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office announced this weekend, and charged with unarmed home Invasion, kidnapping to facilitate a felony and robbery without a firearm.
Deputies say he and Amandalee Kasilowski, who the victim reportedly knew as "Amber" from the Seeking dating website but is a rapper who goes by the name “AK47 Empress Sugar”, robbed the victim on April 26 at the Red Lion Hotel at 192 and Poinciana Boulevard.
As the News-Gazette reported back on May 8, Kasilowski met the victim on the dating website known for connecting people for mutually beneficial “sugar daddy” relationships. They spent the day at Disney Springs before returning to the victim’s room, where the victim reportedly agreed to give her $400. The victim told deputies he went to the restroom and returned to find Kasilowski opening the door to let in a man wearing a ski mask and dark clothing, now identified as Petrie, who "kept his hands near his waist band, implying he had a weapon," according to the arrest report. Kasilowski allegedly took the man’s wallet, keys and phone from his pockets and demanded the PINs to his bank cards, and left the room while Petrie and the victim remained inside. Surveillance footage later showed a woman of her description at a Wawa ATM on Vineland Road withdrawing cash.
“Amber” came back to the room about 15 minutes later, returned the victim’s property, and left with Petrie. Deputies say the victim then checked his bank account and noticed $2,180 was withdrawn from his accounts.
Kasilowski was arrested on May 6 and charged with unarmed home invasion, kidnapping with intent to commit a felony, robbery without a firearm, and fraudulent use of credit cards. Court records show “AK47 Empress Sugar” was released from jail on May 10 on a $92,5000 bond, and has entered a plea of not guilty.
Petrie, who has been charged with a number of felonies in Osceola County including 2024 criminal mischief and battery cases, remains held in jail without bond.
