Kissimmee woman wins $2 million in Florida Lottery scratch-off game

Kissimmee residents, one of your neighbors might be a new millionaire.

The Florida Lottery reported Friday that Pamela Pontes Cordeiro Silva claimed a $2 million Silver Streak scratch-off ticket prize, worth about $1.2 million as a lump-sum payout. Silver Streak is a $10 game that offers four million-dollar prizes and a number of $10,000 wins.

The ticket was bought at the Wawa on West U.S. Highway 192 near Island H20 waterpark in January. The store will receive a prize of $4,000 for being the retailer that sold the winning ticket, Lottery officials said.
