St. Cloud man calling 911 for ride gets trip to jail
Osceola County Sheriff ’s deputies arrested a 29-year-old man early Saturday morning after he repeatedly called 911 for a ride home from a Kissimmee convenience store and then complained when a deputy refused.
At around 3:30 a.m., Osceola County Sheriff ’s deputies responded to a call at 7-11, 2975 N. Orange Blossom Trail, where they encountered Isaiah Fernandez. When asked if he had made the 911 call, Fernandez reportedly responded, “I don’t know, did I?”
When deputies explained that 911 is for emergencies only, Fernandez asked “Are you human?” Just minutes after deputies le_, Fernandez called 911 again to complain that the deputies were “dismissive,” said reports. When they returned and again warned him not to misuse emergency services, Fernandez pleaded for them to take him home, explaining his phone could only dial 911.
Despite being given a nonemergency phone number, Fernandez kept dialing 911 to air his grievances, eventually leading deputies to arrest him for misuse of the 911 system and finally give him a ride – to jail. Deputies noted that Fernandez appeared to be intoxicated.

Inside, they found multiple firearms, stockpiles of ammunition, and grenades.
Records show former St. Cloud Police officer Michael Nieto was involved in buying from and selling guns to Vazquez.
