Here’s a list of achievements by Osceola County students at out-of-area colleges and universities, as reported by Merit Pages News: Malgorzata Villanueva of Harmony was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at University of Maryland Global Campus. Villanueva is among approximately 20,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year.
Jerilyn Frias of Kissimmee, was among a group of outstanding students recognized with the State University of New York Delhi Student Life Leadership Award. The award is presented to students who exemplify leadership, service, and scholarship and contribute to enhancing the campus community.
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, has accepted Aiden Geleta of Kissimmee at Florida Atlantic University and Joel Rodriguez of St. Cloud at Florida Institute of Technology.
University of Tampa has honored 2,300 students to the Fall 2024 Dean’s List, including: Celebration: Harley Owens; Davenport: Emily Gulla, Lily Trapp; Kissimmee: Kelsey Bustos, Emily Carrucini, Ella Graham, Michael LaMonica, Mario Ramos-Lemus, Kyara Rodriguez.

Kaelin Wilhoit of St. Cloud has been named to the Dean’s List at Geneva College (Beaver Falls, Pa.)
Kissimmee’s Cyndie and Lyndie Alexis were named to the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, Mass.) Dean’s List.
A.J. Brown of Kissimmee and Daphaney Lantigua Sanchez of St. Cloud were named to Ohio University Dean’s List.
Emily Whitmire of Kissimmee has been named to the 2024 fall trimester Dean’s List at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida Campus in Port Orange.
Nahshon Matthias Paul of Kissimmee and Connor Douglas Cecil and Levi Diaz Hill of St. Cloud were named to the Mars Hill (N.C.) University Honor Roll of the Academic Dean.
Hugo Placer of Kissimmee was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
Preston Killough of Celebration was named to Biola University’s (La Mirada, Calif.) Dean’s List.
Flagler College (St. Augustine) announced its Fall 2024 President’s List includes Lana Bischoff of Davenport, Gianinna Fierro of Kissimmee and Sydney Knight of St. Cloud. Francis Pagan of St. Cloud, with an Associate’s in Homeland Security, is one of more than 1,000 students who graduated from the Fall Semester from Des Moines Area Community College. Additionally, Leroy Pinnock of Kissimmee was named to DMACC’s Fall Semester President’s List.
