Osceola students honored in OUC calendar
OUC has honored 13 Osceola County students for their creativity in promoting energy conservation through the Watts Savings Project.
The 4th and 5th graders’ artwork was selected to be featured in OUC’s 2025 Energy Conservation Calendar.
To celebrate their achievements, OUC hosted an awards ceremony at Osceola Arts March 4, recognizing these young artists for their work.
The chosen students were: Lakeview Elementary: Vanellope M., Blakely B., Elizabeth Y., Stefan D., Risbely R., Charlotte A.; East Lake Elementary: Dayanelis P., Emily B.; Michigan Avenue Elementary: Brooklyn H.; St. Cloud Elementary: Faithlyn S.; Voyager K-8: Zayra O., Camila G., Daira M.
KUA seeks Board member applications Kissimmee Utility Authority is seeking individuals interested in appointment to the utility’s board of directors for a fiveyear term beginning Oct. 1. KUA board members are nonpaid officials who serve as policymakers for the utility.
Applicants for this seat must be registered voters, reside within Kissimmee city limits, and should demonstrate a successful business or professional management career.
