The Osceola County Supervisor of Elections, in conjunction with the Florida Supervisors of Elections Association, has announced a scholarship opportunity aimed at supporting the next leadership generation. Three $1,200 scholarships are being offered to college students across the state.
According to Osceola County Supervisor of Elections Mary Jane Arrington’s office, applicants must be registered Florida voters and have lived in the state for at least the preceding two years. Applicants must be either a Political Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Journalism/ Mass Communication major and be at least a junior in college, enrolled or accepted as a full-time student at a Florida university and have maintained at least a “C” average or above for the previous year.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 7, 2025. Applications are available online at www.voteosceola.gov or can be picked up from the Osceola County Supervisor of Elections office at Partin Settlement Road and East U.S. Highway 192.
Osceola County applications must submit their application locally, where one finalist will be sent on to the FSE Scholarship Committee for consideration.
