IDignity Osceola to transition to Hope Identification
A community program that helps people obtain identification cards to help the processes of attaining housing, employment, healthcare, and other basic needs will have a new name in the new year.
Effective Jan. 1, Hope Partnership will transition its identification assistance program from operating as IDignity Osceola to Hope Identification (Hope IDs).
“This change reflects the commitment to continuing seamless, impactful services while aligning more closely with Hope Partnership’s organization’s mission and vision,” Hope Partnership officials said.
IDignity Osceola was founded in 2016 to assist in the often-complicated process of obtaining the documents needed for state-issued identification.
“While the name of the program is changing, the mission remains the same: to serve individuals facing challenges in obtaining identification,” said Rev. Mary Lee Downey, CEO of Hope Partnership. “Hope IDs will continue to build on the legacy of IDignity Osceola, with deep gratitude to IDignity Inc. for their years of guidance and partnership, while planning for future growth to meet the evolving needs of our community.”
