Liberty High School will hold its first Senior Parent Night of the year on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 4-6 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. This is an opportunity for parents and guardians to get information and updates on how their students are progressing towards graduation.
Poinciana High School’s 6th Annual Fine and Performing Arts Gala will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 7-9 p.m. in the school’s auditorium. See the Theater, Dance, Band, Chorus and Visual Art students exhibit their talents. Admission is free (donations gladly appreciated).

Conversational Spanish allows engagement with other speakers to practice your Spanish and improve your confidence and vocabulary. Basic Spanish skills are required. This program takes place on Friday, Oct. 4 from 3-4 p.m.
Experience the magic of Hispanic Heritage Month with local artists as they reveal the creative process behind their artwork while sharing their lives and stories. Pioneers of Change: Artist Spotlight takes place on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 1-3 p.m.
E.S.O.L. for Beginners will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 6:30-8 p.m. This session allows others to become more familiar with the English language.
Nutrition and Health Cooking takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 12-1 p.m. Presented by Abir Blaney, Nutrition Education Coordinator with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Attendees will learn how to shop smarter, using nutritional information to make healthier choices and cook affordable meals.
LEGO Club for children ages 6-11 will be on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Build a LEGO masterpiece using imagination, creativity and engineering skills.
