Saturday provided a day full of water safety education, vendors, food and fun at the 8th annual Team Kareem Memorial Run/Walk. The community came together to honor the memory of Kareem Angel Green, whose preventable drowning was an accident during a field trip, and raise awareness for water safety and drowning prevention advocacy. As a result, Team Kareem offers free swimming lessons and related services to children of all backgrounds.
