Here are your local candidates for the 2024 Election

The ballots for local races in the 2024 election are now set, as the qualification period, for those seeking election by paying he qualifying fee or turning in ballot petitions, closed on Friday at noon.

Here is the list of qualified candidates, per the Osceola County Supervisor of Elections office. (I = incumbent). The School Board, Kissimmee City Commission and St. Cloud City Council races are non-partisan. Any races with more than two candidates will be featured in the Aug. 20 primary; if no candidate gets 50% plus one vote of those cast, the top two vote-getters will move on to the Nov. 5 general election.

All other races will feature Aug. 20 partisan primaries where there are two or more of that party’s members in the race.
