Make sure you head to downtown St. Cloud on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Small Business Saturday. Enjoy a free breakfast provided by Jimmy Bears, Bacon King and 10th Street Produce (first 100 people) at 1102 New York Ave. After breakfast, stroll historic downtown to save on unique, handmade and local gifts for everyone on your holiday list. Some downtown businesses are offering specials – Southern Roots Antiques opens at 9 a.m. and offering for the first 12 shoppers spending $25 or more a free gift. Spend $50 or more and be entered to win a shop tote bag full of items and a gift certificate. Hidden items will be throughout the store offering discounts and free classes. Many other surprises can be found in downtown St. Cloud on Small Business Saturday.
Pop’s Waffles and Claws and Critters are teaming up for a unique experience on Monday, Nov. 27 from 5-6 p.m. Come to Pops to meet cute critters and enjoy ice cream. Pops Waffles is located at 1221 11th St.
The 4th Annual Osceola County Toy Poker Run benefiting Toys for Tots takes place on Sunday, Dec. 3. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. at Island Cloud Grill, 1122 Pennsylvania Ave., heads to DAV Post 10 American Legion, Post 33 AMVETS and ends at the VFW in St. Cloud. Due to inclement weather on Thursday, Nov. 16, Hola in the City’s new date is Friday, Dec. 15th from 5-8 p.m. at St. Cloud City Hall. In collaboration with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, the City invites all for a fun event celebrating Hispanic heritage. This event features arts, culture, Hispanic cuisine and more.
The City of St. Cloud is developing a Vulnerability Assessment and Associated Adaption Action Plan as part of the Resilient Florida Program. This project will evaluate current and future flood risks and vulnerability and identify ways to adapt and become more resilient to flooding. Your input will help to define goals and objectives.
