The annual Boo! On Broadway Halloween celebration attracted an estimated 10,000 celebrants, many in unique costumes, to downtown Kissimmee Friday to get people in the mood for the holiday. And the mood was in full force!
Broadway was closed to traffic for the evening as Trick-or-Treaters were able to get enough candy to produce a sugar rush all weekend. Local merchants, civic and government groups got in the spirit as well, with canopies and displays all up and down the corridor, including a Kissimmee Police Department Trunk-or-Treat with some impressive automobiles. Stages at each end got the beats going, and Geortge LaMond Fulanito brought a Latin beat that kept the crowd pumping through the night.
Thanks to Kissimmee Main Street for putting on the Boo! you do, and making downtown Kissimmee the place to be Friday night for some frights!
