The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Davenport man they say traveled to a Four Corners resort to have sex with teenage girls.
Ryan Doak, 24, was arrested Wednesday and charged with solicitation of a minor, traveling to meet a minor for sex, transmission of harmful materials and unlawful use of a two-way communication device, all felonies.
Police responded to the Westgate Vacation Villas, and were advised by one of the parents of the minors that a man later identified as Doak, had been communicating over social media with the 13 and 14-year-old victims, and was present at the resort; he parked outside of it and jumped the surrounding privacy wall of the resort to gain entry into the property. The parents of one victim advised Doak had been communicating over social media with the victims.
According to a Sheriff’s Office release, Doak had exchanging messages with the minors, had full knowledge they were minors and still sent them lewd and lascivious messages referencing his intentions to batter them sexually.
Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit responded to the scene and obtained an arrest warrant for Doak. A search warrant was obtained for his vehicle, where two firearms were found.
He was arrested and sent to the Osceola County Jail, where records show he remains held on $7,000 bond as of late Friday afternoon.
