Kings Highway, a major arterial road for residents living south of Neptune Road, will be repaired and get a new surface between Taylor Ridge Loop and Pine Island Road, starting Monday (Aug. 14) through Aug. 25.
The road will be done from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents who use the road have said damage from last year’s Hurricane Ian has been evident since the storm.
There will be temporary lane closures but no road closures, the county said, so expect the possibility of traffic in the area at drive times.
In addition, Osceola County noted three east-west streets north of downtown Kissimmee connecting Old Dixie Highway to Orange Blossom Trail — Washington, Tremont and Ridgewood avenues, are scheduled for resurfacing from Thursday to Monday.
