The Republican Women Crusaders offered up “Christmas in July” to families at a local shelter, in order to bring a little joy to women who are in terrible situations running from abuse. It was an opportunity to let them know there are residents in Osceola cheering them on to make a better life for themselves.
The group put together and distributed over 35 pocketbooks filled with toiletries, shoes, summer clothing and gifts for children being helped by Help Now of Osceola County, donated boxes of clothing in addition to the ones in the gift bags.
