As the News-Gazette reported last week, Kissimmee's LaVell Monger, a Partner, Director of Business Development & Outreach of RTW Photography, has been named as one the participants for Leadership Florida's Connect Class 13 program. Leaders from across the state, including corporate executives, business owners, educators, elected officials and nonprofit executives, will participate in educational program sessions and meet other leaders from a variety of backgrounds who represent Florida’s diverse composition.
The program provides a unique platform for participants to enhance their leadership skills, gain a deeper understanding of Florida's complex challenges, and forge strong connections with fellow change-makers from diverse backgrounds and industries.
Monger, 32, who is the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce's incoming Chairman of the Board, said this week he is, "Deeply honored and immensely excited to be accepted."
"This opportunity represents a significant milestone in my leadership journey," Monger announced Thursday. I am eager to engage with other passionate individuals who share a common vision for positive change in our great state.”
Monger's mark on the community is an indelible one. He sits or has sat on the boards of the Osceola County Planning Commission, St. Cloud and Osceola Chambers, Central Florida Urban League Young Professionals, United Way and Education Foundation of Osceola County, and was part of the task force that helped bring and open a Boys & Girls Club branch to St. Cloud.
