A motorcyclist was killed Saturday after when another vehicle turned into its path, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Just after 1:30 p.m., a pickup truck was making a left turn from Orange Blossom Trail onto Alexander Street, which is just west of Ham Brown Road. The pickup turned into the path of a Suzuki motorcycle ridden by a 31-year-old Davenport man headed eastbound. The collision caused the rider to be thrown from his bike. He was transported to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the truck, a 58-year-old man from Kissimmee, remained on scene had minor injuries, FHP reported.
