St. Cloud police are investigating a child's death Wednesday morning after officials say the girl was hit by her mother's vehicle in their home's driveway.
The six-year-old child succumbed to her injuries at the hospital just before 10 a.m. at Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital after the incident occurred on Silver Thistle Lane, in the Southern Pines subdivision just north of Royal St. Cloud Golf Link, just after 7:30 a.m.
St. Cloud Police and the Fire Rescue Department were on scene quickly to provide aid after the girl was critically injured by the vehicle.
No other information was initially available, as officials said police are continuing to investigate the incident. No definitive cause has been determined or charges filed.
