Ramp closures associated with road work on State Road 417 will affect routes out of Osceola County, as soon as Sunday night.
From Sunday (April 9) through Thursday, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Florida's Turnpike northbound and southbound ramps to 417 North will be closed for bridge work. Drivers should instead go south on 417 to Orange Blossom Trail, then re-enter northbound 417.
Wednesday and Thursday, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from southbound SR 417 to Landstar Boulevard (Exit 14) will be closed for milling and resurfacing. Drivers will be directed to continue south on SR 417 to Orange Blossom Trail exit and follow the detour signs.
The work on SR 417 is expected to be complete by summer 2024.
