On Saturday, the City of Kissimmee celebrated its 140th birthday by hosting the Kowtown Festival. The celebration was on full display as vendors from across town came to celebrate and promote their businesses, encouraging community reach-out.
The City of Kissimmee even posted fun facts along the park such as: “Over the last century, the population of Kissimmee has had many factors contributing to its growth and development.
In the 1970s, which factor drastically changed the City of Kissimmee’s population and main source of employment from agriculture to tourism?”
(The answer, of course, is Walt Disney World)
