The tradition lives … ahead of this weekend’s 150th Silver Spurs Rodeo, cowboys, rodeo queens and local dignitaries rolled through the streets of downtown St. Cloud Saturday in the annual Silver Spurs Rodeo Parade.
In the evening, the cowboys took to the ring, looking for that 8-second ride on the Silver Spurs Riding Club’s best bull stock during the Monster Bulls event. It had cash and bragging rights on the line. During the event the club presented a $5,000 donation to The Opportunity Center, which helps individuals improve their functional skills and increase independence in all areas of their lives.
