Osceola County Sheriff’s investigators have arrested a man, who was in the country illegally, after he confessed to raping a 12-year-old girl starting when she was 11.
20-year-old Eliezer Josue Ordonez-Valladores, who came to the U.S. in 2018 illegally from Mexico with his father, according to Sheriff Marcos Lopez, was arrested Thursday and charged with five counts of sexual battery and capital sexual battery, one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition and a host of other charges related to trying to conceal his identity to avoid arrest.
Lopez said that, Thursday night, patrol deputies located the 12-year-old girl, who had been reported missing by her family. When deputies found her and were taking her back to her family, the girl disclosed that she’d been raped by a neighbor numerous times, starting at age 11.
Through their investigation, detectives narrowed the investigation to Ordonez-Valladores. After taking him into custody, Lopez said he made a full confession to investigators.
“It’s pretty sick, a 20-year-old having sex with an 11-year-old,” Lopez said. “He had immigration issues and was scheduled for removal hearing in June, but he will not get to leave. He will serve a prison sentence, and then be removed.”
Lopez also said the victim’s family also had immigration status issues, but lauded her ability to come forward.
“This is brave little girl. I applaud her courage and telling the truth about what she’s been going through,” he said. “If you are a victim of a crime, report it regardless of your immigration status.”
If anyone else has been a victim of Ordonez-Valladores, they are urged call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222.
