Toho Water Authority Executive Director Swingle joins national organization Board of Directors

Toho Water Authority Executive Director Todd Swingle was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA) and The Water Research Foundation (WRF).

AMWA is an organization of the largest publicly owned water utilities in the U.S. AMWA’s Board of Directors includes water utility executives from across the nation who represent publicly owned water utilities on legislative, regulatory, security, sustainability and utility management issues. Formed in 2018 from three existing water research collaboratives, WRF is the leading research organization striving to advance the science of water to improve quality of life. The Board of Directors provides strategic direction, fiscal stewardship and leadership to this national organization.

When asked about the value of serving on the boards of these organizations, Swingle said, “Toho’s participation in leadership of these national organizations helps shape research and policy in the water sector that will impact Toho for years and decades to come. It is important to have a seat at the table to ensure that our voice is heard.”
