An Orlando woman and boy were killed in a three-car accident Monday evening.
It happened on the southern end of State Road 429 in Osceola County Monday night, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Around 6:15 p.m., a Ford-350 driven by a Lakeland man was headed southbound between the Sinclair Road exit and the Interstate 4 interchange, when it rear-ended a Chevy Silverado, which was then pushed into another vehicle. A 35-year-old woman and 10-year-old boy riding in the Silverado were killed; the woman was pronounced deceased on scene, the boy was transported to AdventHealth Celebration and died there, the report stated.
Two people in the Ford-350 and a 3-year-old girl in the Silverado, along with its driver, were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation, FHP said.
