John Young Parkway will be closed in both directions Thursday night into Friday morning for bridge work at State Road 417, the Central Florida Expressway announced today.
The closure will be from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will use Town Center Boulevard and Town Loop Boulevard to get around the closure, which is to work on the 417 widening project that started last year and is slated to continue until July 2023.
Part of that closure will impact the southbound JYP exit off of southbound 417 and the northbound-to-northbound exit. Drivers can use the Orange Blossom Trail exit and Town Center Boulevard to get to JYP without encountering the detour.
