The Central Florida Expressway Authority has announced another round of ramp and road closures along State Road 417 in order to complete capacity improvements along the toll road.
If you use the major north-south roads to leave or enter Osceola County Wednesday and Thursday night, take notice of these latest closures:
Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Northbound and southbound Orange Blossom Trail under SR 417, for bridge work. Northbound drivers will be directed onto Town Center Boulevard and southbound drivers will be directed onto Whisper Lakes Boulevard or Deerfield Boulevard. (See the detour map with this story.)
Also on Wednesday night, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Southbound SR 417 ramp to northbound John Young Parkway (Exit 10), for lighting work. Drivers will be directed to exit onto southbound John Young Parkway and take Town Center Boulevard to Town Loop Boulevard.
Thursday, August 18, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Southbound SR 417 ramp to southbound John Young Parkway (Exit 10), for lighting work. Drivers will be directed to exit onto
northbound John Young Parkway and take Town Loop Boulevard to Town Center Boulevard.
