A 38-year old Kissimmee woman was killed early Thursday morning in a two-vehicle incident near Harmony, the Florida Highway Patrol has reported.
The incident was reported at 3:17 a.m. According to the report, the woman was stopped on a Kawasaki UTV on a private dirt path near Five Oaks Drive and Harmony Square Drive. A GMC Sierra driven by a 39-year-old Kissimmee man came from behind, failed to stop and collided with the UTV, ejecting the female driver. The truck then ran over the woman. She was transported to St. Cloud Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. The other driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
