Caribbean Fusion “reunion”

Annual festival returns after one-year COVID absence

Kissimmee’s annual Caribbean Fusion Festival, presented by the Caribbean and Floridian Association (CAFA), was another big hit Sunday at Lakefront Park, after a one-year COVID absence.

The sounds and beats of reggae, soca, Latin and steel drum music and the smells of authentic Caribbean food were in the air. Art, dancing and other multicultural entertainment took center stage as thousands of attendees soaked it all in under a warm sun. A health fair, a staple of the CAFA Fusion Festival, ra through the middle of the day.

The free event lived up to its name as a “Caribbean Family reunion,” with so many people coming together to celebrate the “Fusion of Caribbean Culture.”
