You won’t have to “hunt” for a Poinciana Easter egg event

The Association of Poinciana Villages’ (APV) Annual Spring Fest and Easter Egg Hunt will be this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Poinciana Community Center Field (445 Marigold Ave.) This free event includes D.J. Joe spinning music and orchestrating games. There will be two bounce houses as well as an inflatable obstacle course, balloon artist, air-brush tattoos, vendors and food trucks. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos.

The Egg Hunt will begin at 12:45 p.m. grouped by ages 3 and under (parents may assist) 4-7 and 8 and older (children only). Children must bring their own basket/bag.

Living Water Fellowship (4101 Pleasant Hill Rd.) will hold their Annual Egg Hunt on Saturday 10:00 a.m. for children through fifth grade. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Children can search for the over 16,000 eggs filled with candy. Register online (complete the parental permission slip to avoid the long lines) at https://bit.ly/3Lumg0a.

Poinciana Christian Preparatory School North, (2525 Trafalgar Blvd.) will host a community Easter Egg Hunt Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring food, raffles, giveaways and vendors.

Egg-A-Palooza will be held April 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Poinciana Community Park (109 Allegheny Rd.). Spons ored by Polk County Parks and Recreation, this free family event will feature egg hunts with various age groups divided, photos with the Easter Bunny, music, games and more. The Egg Hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. BYO (Basket). For information call 863-534-6911.

First Baptist Poinciana (601 Walnut St.) will hold an Easter Eggstravaganza on April 16 from 2-5 p.m. with a 71 ft. Bounce house, free food, cotton candy, snow cones, Italian Ice, family games and thousands of eggs. Kids who find an egg with a bike slip will win a free bike.
