A crash involving a pickup truck and a semi truck with a trailer has left one dead and another injured at the intersection of Old Lake Wilson Road and Osceola Polk Line Road.
Florida Highway Patrol has reported a Ford F-150 pickup truck was turning left from northbound Old Lake Wilson, into the path of an eastbound semi-truck on Osceola Polk Line Road, driven by a 31-year-old male from Hialeah.
The Ford driver, a 59-year-old Orlando woman, was pronounced deceased on scene, and the passenger, a 37-year-old Lake Mary man, was transported to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital with serious injuries.
The area intersection was blocked off for the investigation into the early evening Wednesday.
