Toho Water sewer work closes several Kissimmee streets

UPDATE: Road closure on Ham Brown Rd between Woodford Dr and Casa Blanca Ave / Paseo St has been rescheduled for Monday, July 26

Toho Water Authority has multiple sewer line and repair projects currently under way that have or will close three streets in Kissimmee, including Ham Brown Road.

Starting Monday, Ham Brown will be temporarily closed to through traffic between Woodford Drive and Casa Blanca Avenue/Paseo Street starting on Monday at approximately 9 a.m. (please see map).

West Penfield Street is temporary closed to thru traffic near the South Lavon Avenue intersection (please see map). The closure is necessary to conduct a sewer repair project in the area. The project is expected to be completed by July 30.

Park Street, just north and east of downtown Kissimmee, will remain temporary closed between Main Street and Robinson Avenue and Mitchell Street through July 30. The closure is necessary to conduct a sewer repair project in the area.

Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching these areas, as workers will be present and speed limits may be reduced and sidewalks possibly closed and diverted. Signage will be placed as needed to keep the traveling public informed.

Noise and vibrations, barricades, trucks, machinery and equipment and possible odors from the sewer system are possible temporary inconveniences. Please keep children away from the construction site at all times to avoid accidents.
