A 55-year-old St. Cloud man died Monday night after the bicycle he was riding along Nova Road was struck, Florida Highway Patrol says.
This fatal crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. Monday night on Nova near Tram Road, a dirt road that's a couple miles west of the bend at Deer Park Road.
According to FHP's crash report, the cyclist was hit by a GMC Sierra driven by a 47-year-old Orlando man. The impact knocked the cyclist onto the shoulder. He was transported to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The driver and a passenger were not injured.
