Operations were all smooth at the sandbag location at Osceola Heritage Park Monday morning.
It opened at 8 a.m., and by 8:45 it was doing a brisk business. There was no waiting to get to one of about eight sand piles. Osceola County is providing sandbags, bring a shovel (and a helper!).
Osceola residents can still fill sandbags until 6:00 p.m. Information will be updated if it will also be open Tuesday.
The entrance is off of Shakerag Road in the auxiliary grass parking lot. Enter from the U.S. 192 side of Shakerag (cutting through the Silver Spurs Arena parking lot is not an option — the gate is closed). Cars enter and exit of Shakerag.
