The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West has named its winners in the Student Virtual Art Exhibit contest. For $5 per vote, the public was able to go online and choose their favorite pieces, with cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded to the students (and their teachers) selected. Winners of the “People’s Choice Award” and “Best of Show” were awarded cash prizes, with the remaining proceeds going to support the Osceola Council on Aging’s Food Pantries, Osceola Meals on Wheels and Senior Housing, as well as funding youth education, development and post-secondary scholarships throughout Osceola County.
The winners were: K-2nd grade, Bianca Mata Balza, Westide Elementary; 3rd-5th, Jhonana Centeno, Ventura Elementary; 6th-8th grade, Nicole DeMartino, Osceola County School for the Arts; 9th-12th grade, Abagail Moore, Osceola County School for the Arts; People’s Choice Winner, Annabelle Woodward, 3rd grade, Ventura Elementary.
