Precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect for customers on Peabody Road

Precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect for customers on Peabody Road from Cannook Drive to Chesterfield Court.
Toho Water Authority is announcing that once service is restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect for customers on Peabody Road from Cannook Drive to Chesterfield Court.
This is due to an emergency repair being conducted on a water main in the area. Service is expected to be restored by 3 a.m. Schedules could change due to unforeseen circumstances.
The precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect until lifted by Toho Water Authority.
Approximately 350 customers are affected.
As a precautionary measure once water is restored, customers should boil their water prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). A vigorous boil for one minute is adequate to render water bacteriologically safe for drinking. As an alternative bottled water may be used.
