Overnight Osceola Parkway closures start April 10

Continuing work done last month to transition Osceola Parkway to a cashless toll system later this year, Osceola County will close lanes and have detours at the Shingle Creek Mainline Toll Plaza starting Monday, April 10, through Sunday, April 17.

Single lane closures on westbound Osceola Parkway at Shingle Creek Toll Plaza will occur from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 14. One lane will remain open. Full closure will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday, April 14 through Monday, April 17.

The westbound detour involves traveling south on John Young Parkway, or south on Dyer Boulevard to westbound Carroll Street/Hoagland Boulevard, then west on U.S. 192. Drivers can then re-enter Osceola Parkway at Vineland Road/Poinciana Boulevard or Seralago Boulevard.

Starting in spring 2023, cash will no longer be accepted at the Shingle Creek Mainline Toll Plaza and Poinciana Parkway ramps on the Osceola Parkway. Drivers will pay tolls electronically with an E-PASSSunPass, or other compatible device or by Pay By Plate bill by mail.
