The Osceola School District has announced the Florida Department of Education noted it has the second-lowest administrative expenditures among the state’s 67 school districts. The ranking was based on the district’s 2023-2024 financial report in compliance with the Florida Educational Funding Accountability Act and speaks to the district’s fiscal responsibility.
“By maintaining lean administrative operations, the Osceola School District continues to ensure that resources are focused on supporting teachers, enhancing instruction, and improving outcomes for every student,” said Osceola School Board Chairman Heather Kahoun. “While the Osceola School District continues to advocate for better funding for our schools, we are committed to using each and every dollar in the best possible manner for the students.”
