High schools across Osceola County will be celebrating the post-secondary plans of their graduating seniors on school-based Decision Days, in conjunction with National Decision Day, College Signing Day, and the Florida Decision Day.
The purpose is to celebrate graduating seniors as they declare what they want to do with their futures and decide where they will go after high school, whether it be college, technical school, the military, or the workforce. High schools in Osceola County will announce their graduates and their post-secondary decisions on both Instagram and Facebook @osceolaschoolsfl on the following days:
•April 28: Poinciana High, Celebration High, and Osceola High.
•April 29: Liberty High and Osceola County School for the Arts.
•April 30: Gateway High and Harmony High.
In addition on this day, the Osceola School District will be collaborating with Broward County Public Schools, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, The School District of Palm Beach County, St. Lucie Public Schools and Polk County Public Schools in a unified College and Career Decision Day Celebration Kickoff on April 30 at 6 p.m. Districts will be showcasing all students, including those enrolling in a technical school, enlisting in the armed forces, moving directly into the workforce, exploring the world by taking a Gap Year, or enrolling in a two- or four-year college program. A simultaneous live broadcast event will be shared across participating districts to kick off and energize individual high school celebrations across the state.
