Recently, the Osceola County Association of Realtors recognized longtime member and 2020 President Joe Johnson as Realtor of the Year, the organization’s top honor.
Johnson was selected from a task force of his peers.
The Realtor of the Year award is presented to an active member of the association who goes above and beyond to serve the real estate profession and the community.
Traditionally, award winners are recognized in-person at the annual Installation and Awards Ceremony, but the ongoing pandemic required the cancellation of the event and the transition to the first virtual ceremony.
Johnson has been in the real estate industry for more than two decades and is the general manager of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Results Realty.
For many years he has served on the leadership team and Board of Directors for the Osceola County Association of Realtors I and as president in 2020. Johnson has also been a member of numerous committees on the local, state and national level.
“In 2020, Joe led our association during one of our most challenging years. His service to our members was invaluable and we are proud to honor him with this welldeserved and distinguished designation of Realtor of the Year,” stated Chief Executive Officer Twis Lizasuain.
